Liberal Leader Isobel Redmond and Shadow Minister for Youth John Gardner have congratulated South Australia’s Year 12 students for completing their studies and wished them all the best for a safe Schoolies Festival.
The annual Schoolies Festival will be held at Victor Harbor from the 16th to the 18th of November.
“Completing Year 12 is a very significant milestone and I wish all students every success in the future,” Ms Redmond said.
“To those students attending Schoolies – party safely and enjoy the festivities.
“I remind all students attending not to drink and drive and encourage them to use the free MAC Schoolies bus.
“I also want to thank all the volunteers who have given up their time to make sure our students can have a safe and memorable time at Schoolies.”
“Schoolies should be a time of great joy – a time for relaxing with old friends after the shared experience of completing their schooling,” Mr Gardner said.
“But it is also important for the many students enjoying Schoolies to ensure that they look after their friends and make safe choices.”
