Hon. Ben Hood MLC

Ben Hood grew up on a farming property in the South-East and currently lives in Mount Gambier with his wife, Ellen, and their three children.

Mr Hood is a strong advocate for the regions and is focused on concerning issues like the skills and housing shortage which is having a huge impact on communities.

Mr Hood's passion for food, agriculture, and educating children has been channelled into a well-known series of books and videos he co-created - George the Farmer - that seek to inform rural and city-based children about where their food and fibre comes from.

Mr Hood served as the Deputy Mayor of the City of Mount Gambier and has held multiple senior positions within the Liberal Party, reflecting his dedication to both community and Liberal values.
