Damian is a proud sixth-generation South Australian.

With experience across a variety of sectors, Damian brings a diverse skill set to our Senate team.

With nearly a decade’s experience as an elected member of the City of Tea Tree Gully Council, as well as two years’ service as Deputy Mayor, Damian understands the everyday challenges faced by people in our community.

A third-generation member of Australia’s Defence Force, Damian is a former Military Public Affairs Officer in the Army Reserve, where he held the rank of Captain.

He has worked as a policy advocate on family and social issues. Alongside his wife, he has successfully run his own small business.

Married to Joyce, they are raising a large family together and are also actively involved in their church. One of Damian’s mottoes is: “If you want something done, give it to a busy person”.
