Tom is part of a fifth-generation farming family from Bute. He's a farmer, an economist and a problem solver.
Tom has an astute understanding of the unique challenges that our farming and rural communities face and he is ready to stick up for our regions.
Tom studied Economics and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Adelaide before gaining valuable insights and experience working in the corporate sector. As a Business Strategy Consultant, he coordinated and dealt with governments and corporations, all while never missing a harvest at home.
After a successful corporate career off the farm, Tom returned home to Bute, immersing himself in the family business.
Tom has spoken with farmers, local businesses and community groups across his electorate, from small towns to remote areas, and he understands the issues locals care about.
Tom is ready to be a strong voice in Canberra for the communities of Grey and for our regional, rural and remote South Australia’s communities.
