The success of the Liberal Party of Australia depends on the generosity of many Australians who choose to financially support us. Unlike Labor, the Liberal Party does not have access to the massive financial resources of big unions.
By donating to the Liberal Party you are making a direct contribution to the Liberal Party’s campaign to win the next election.
Donations and contributions by individuals to registered political parties of up to $1500 p.a. may be tax deductible. As a result of changes to the South Australian electoral laws, from 1 July 2025 funds raised by donations will be used to support the Liberal Party of Australia (SA) in undertaking federal election campaigns and for other federal purposes. They will not be used for State electoral purposes. Federal recording and disclosure rules apply. Federal donations and contributions to a registered political party greater than $17,300 p.a. must be declared by the donor to the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC). Further information including donor forms can be found on the AEC website. It is recommended that you seek independent financial advice on donations or contributions.
