Ben Hood grew up on a farming property in the South-East and currently lives in Mount Gambier with his wife, Ellen, and their three children.

As a business owner for over 20 years, Mr Hood is a strong advocate for small business and the regions. He is focused on tackling the issues like the health, skills and housing shortages which is having a huge impact on regional communities.

Mr Hood served as the Deputy Mayor of the City of Mount Gambier and has held multiple senior positions within the Liberal Party, reflecting his dedication to both community and Liberal values.
