Nicolle is the fourth generation of her family to live, study, work and serve her local community in Boothby.
Her family connection began when her great-grandfather returned from World War I and settled with her great-grandmother in a modest War Service home in Lower Mitcham in the heart of Boothby.
This is why Nicolle is a passionate advocate for veterans and she was instrumental in saving the Repat Hospital site and establishing the Veteran’s Wellbeing Centre there.
Nicolle served as the Member for Boothby from 2016 until stepping down at the 2022 election due to the impact of her stage four endometriosis on her health.
Nicolle’s health is now on track but the nation isn’t.
People are not better off like the Albanese Government promised, particularly when it comes to cost of living. Local road upgrades have ground to a halt under Labor in comparison to the many local projects Nicolle was able to deliver as the local member including Oaklands Crossing, the Springbank/Goodwood/Daws Road intersection upgrade and the Fullarton/Cross Road upgrade.
Nicolle will keep listening to her local community and delivering for them on issues that matter locally while continuing her advocacy work across a range of issues, including women’s health and women’s safety.
